The five inputs

The engine doesn't trade off any single indicator. It weighs five factors into one blended score every time it re-evaluates a pair:

• Momentum — short-term price velocity and acceleration across the active timeframe.
• Structure — where price sits relative to recent swing highs/lows, support/resistance, and range boundaries.
• Volume — whether moves are backed by participation or thinning out on low volume.
• Funding rates — perpetual funding across tracked exchanges, used as a crowding signal (see CVD divergence for the related MM read).
• DXY macro bias — a risk-on/risk-off modifier derived from dollar strength, applied to nudge conviction up or down without overriding the technical read.

These combine into a single number from 0 to 100. Higher isn't just "more bullish" — it reflects how many independent factors agree with each other. A move with strong momentum but no volume or structure support scores lower than one where all five line up.

HTF bias alignment

Alongside the score, every signal shows a higher-timeframe (HTF) row — 15M, 1H, 4H and 1D — each tagged BULL, BEAR or NEUT. This isn't a separate score; it's a transparency layer so you can see why the engine landed where it did. A STRONG signal with all four timeframes aligned is a materially different setup than one with only the 15M in agreement, even at the same numeric score — the HTF row is where you'd see that difference.

The grade filter: WAIT → STRONG

Raw scores get bucketed into four grades. This is the actual filter that decides whether a setup is worth surfacing at all:

Grade	What it means
WAIT	No actionable edge. Factors are mixed or contradicting — sits out of the setup scanner.
WEAK	Some agreement, but below the conviction threshold or R:R gate. Shown for context, not pushed as a setup.
STANDARD	Passes the R:R gate with reasonable factor agreement. Tradeable, lower conviction.
STRONG	High factor agreement, passes R:R gate with margin. The tier Auto-Trade's auto-entry watches for.

The R:R gate

Even a high-scoring setup gets filtered if the resulting risk:reward doesn't clear a minimum threshold once entry, stop and first target are calculated. This is why you won't see every high-score reading turn into a graded signal — a great score with a poor R:R at current price gets held back rather than surfaced as a trade idea.
